The mega-companies like Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Avaya that now compete with independent events by hosting either PARTNER or USER events. These not only detract from an independent industry event but (now that budgets are tight) these companies are introducing Virtual events that their own partners must attend. Once these partners are trained on how to benefit from a virtual event, they will use an independent Virtual events. So I guess what goes around, comes around...</description>
